Yes. One group will cost the lead user £8.99 per month. There is a discount if the full year is paid in advance, effectively giving two free months of membership. Group numbers are limited to a maximum of 20 and each user group can only use up to 20Gb of memory

If you subscribe to the Peggi app on a monthly basis you will be entitled to cancel your Monthly Subscription Term at any time and your cancellation will take effect at the end of the current Monthly Subscription Term. peggi never sell your data to anyone, ever. We only take payment details for the lead user of each group. Although peggi™ was developed as a platform supporting those living with dementia, it is also a great way for anyone searching for a safe and secure, private space for sharing their memories. Primary benefit of peggi™ 1: There are many people, including those living with dementia or other cognitive impairment, who just cannot use available social media platforms due to the constant intrusion, interruptions and potential for scams. Many feel lonely, isolated or even excluded as a result. peggi™ is here to deliver inclusion and reduce isolation for these people. Primary benefit of peggi™ 2: peggi™ is a connection App and as such it encourages the collaboration in and sharing of memory based reminiscence. The photograph srtorage aspects of peggi™ are uniwue and essential, but it is provided as a vehicle to encourage this connection and collaboration, bring wellbeing and improved feelings of happiness.Almost 2 trillion photographs are taken every year, but most of them are never seen again because we are forced to post our images onto less than helpful platforms. peggi™ fundamentally rethinks how we interact with digital content. Your group can upload pictures, videos, audio or written content into your private space, where only members of the group can ever see it. Group members can compile albums of events, or allow peggi™ unique “Timeline” generator AI to pull content from the groups saved albums to tell a story, such as: “Create a timeline of Grandad’s landmark birthdays! Why peggi™ is better: Because peggi™ uniquely combines the organisation of google or Apple photos on the cloud, with the social features of Instagram or Facebook, and the intimacy of WhatsApp in complete privacy & focused on true meaning. Content is stored in a logical way that you determine, and not simply a linear feed of new information. When our founder Glenda Devlin’s Aunt Peggi – who had been diagnosed with dementia – started being unable to recognise people and began feeling isolated from her friends and family, Glenda would visit with old photographs. The pair would look through them, Peggy would tell stories and point out loved ones and the pair would laugh for hours. This is when Glenda got the idea to build something transformational for others. peggi™ app has been designed as an alternative to social media where you can connect with family and friends, reduce loneliness, and provide a platform for life stories to live on forever.

That’s a great question and the answer is, Well actually, no it’s not. Just for those living with dementia.  Although peggi™ was developed with those living with Dementia or other cognitive impairment  in mind, it is actually a fantastic place for groups of up to 20 to safely, securely and privately share memories and content together with no algorithms, advertising or risk of anyone outside the group seeing the content. Also, if parents want their kids to have such a group, that a parent can manage then this works a treat. As we see the kick back against traditional social media platforms in the news, we can see peggi™ playing an important role in providing an alternative to those platforms. Although peggi™ is not a social media platform, it combined the best aspects of the three main ways that peol currently store memories and images. peggi™ provides the social aspects of messaging and social media, with the storage and organising capabilities of the cloud, and a privacy level all of it’s own.  There is never a risk that any data will be accessed or used by us, which is why our model relies on a subscription only basis. We will not earn any additional revenue from your membership.

We have worked for over four years on developing peggi™, collaborating with those living with dementia as well as families caring for someone living with dementia. Our aim was to provide a safe space on-line which is intuitive and simple to use for all. peggi™  has four types of members:Group leader: who administers the group and pays the only subscription.Group members: who collaborate in developing albums and content for the group to share.Legacy member: A person nominated to take over Group Leadership, in the event of the current leader needing to step down.  peggi™ mode member: Usually a person living with dementia or other cognitive impairment. This mode makes the apps appearance even simpler for the user, with controls limited to the “View”, “Chat” and “Timeline” features. They have no ability to edit any of the content. Only the Group leader can switch a member into peggi™ mode. It is important that a group member in peggi™ mode, is only switched into this mode, if and when they feel it necessary, or when the group leader decides that it will be more appropriate for them. Never accessing or selling data is at our core and we will always have an honest and transparent relationship with our members.

You can become a member of more than one group, but you can only be lead user in one group.

For now, we are providing each user group with 20 gigabytes of storage included in their subscription. This should be more than enough for most groups of 20 people. In our next release, subscription levels may be varied to reflect different storage capacities.

In order to cancel or alter your subscription, you must: If you are an Apple user – cancel via the “Subscriptions” menu within your general settings menu.If you are an Android user – cancel via the “Subscriptions” menu within your main menu. In order to cancel your subscription prior to it automatically renewing, you must undertake the above steps at least [48 hours] before your subscription is due to renew. In the app there is a profile section where the users name and profile picture can be changed.

On a new device the user will download the app again from the app store and log in with their email address and password.
